Tales From The Crypt

TNT has tapped M. Night Shyamalan to reboot Tales from the Crypt, the 1980’s HBO series based on a comic book. Since HBO owns the rights to the series host, the Crypt Keeper, the popular puppet will not be returning to the TNT series. Shyamalan  tweeted on Jan. 9, 2016 : “I’d never make Tales without the CK! Will be a new take on him as the puppet is property of HBO. Promise he’ll be cool and dark!:It has been reported that the show will feature an old man with a cane, wearing a hood, and keeping warm by a fireplace.  The show will not be a weekly anthology series like HBO’s adaptation. Instead, each season will have one storyline for 13 episodes, similar to American Horror Story. The first season will focus on voodoo in New Orleans.
