The Fugitive

On May 12, 2015 Deadline reported that Warner Bros has now in development the third installment of The Fugitive film series, itself a cinematic reboot/spinoff of the hit 1960’s television series. Christina Hodson (The Eden Project, Shut) has been hired to write the script and Arnold and Anne Kopelson will return to produce, but no word if either Harrison Ford or Tommy Lee Jones will reprise their roles.

The original TV series starred David Janssen as Dr. Richard Kimble, a role Ford starred in the hit 1990’s film, a man falsely accused of murdering his wife and goes on treacherous manhunt for the one-armed man he believes is the actual murderer. The film went on to make $368 million on a $40 million budget, leading to the sequel U.S. Marshalls starring Jones reprising his role with new co-stars Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr.
