The MPAA has not approved of the latest poster with Eva Green for the upcoming sequel to Sin City. Banned from movie theaters “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown,” Dimension is rumored to be working on some sort of compromise before the film’s August 22 release.

Isn’t it ironic that self-proclaimed prude Jessica Alba’s Sin City poster as a fully dressed stripper makes the cut? Bravo to The Weinstein Company and Dimension for exploiting the negative PR into a massive online campaign for their film. Harvey Weinstein and his minions have once again stirred up controversy and have bloggers (including yours truly) to write about the “banned image.”
