With a budget of $28 million and box office revenue over $170 million in less than a month, asequel to  Straight Outta Compton has gone into preproduction.  The movie DPG 4 Life, or Dogg Pound 4 Life, will show the rise and fall of the super-group that emanated from Dr. Dre’s partnering with Suge Knight at Death Row Records. 

Straight Outta Compton is a 2015 American biodrama film directed by F. Gary Gray about the rise and fall of the Compton, California hip hop group N.W.A. The film borrows its title from the name of their 1988 debut studio album. 

Rumored cast for the sequel includes Azad Arnaud as Daz Dillinger; Reggie Noble as Suge Knight; Melvin Jackson Jr. as Kurupt; DaDa as Tupac and  Curtis Young (Dr. Dre’s son) as Dr. Dre
